Adding Collaborators to a Track on Soundee

Easily collaborate on Soundee tracks for richer music. Share, credit, and create together.

Collaborating with other artists and creators can elevate your music and expand your creative horizons.
Soundee makes it easy to add collaborators to your tracks, ensuring each party gets its share of revenue automatically.
Follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the Specific Track: Go to the track you want to add a collaborator to within Soundee Studio.
  2. Access the 'Collaborators' Section: Scroll down to the 'Collaborators' section of the track.
  3. Add a Collaborator: Click on 'Add a collaborator' to begin the process.
  4. Search for Your Collaborator: Start typing the name or username of the user you want to add as a collaborator. It's important to ensure accuracy, so we recommend asking your collaborator to share a link to their profile. This way, you can familiarise yourself with their brand and avoid adding the wrong user as a collaborator.
  5. Add Multiple Collaborators: If you have multiple collaborators for the track, simply repeat steps 3 and 4 for each one.
  6. (Optional) Split Even: To ensure an even distribution of credits or shares among the collaborators, you can use the 'Split Even' feature. This can help maintain fairness in the collaboration.

By adding collaborators to your track, you open the door to new ideas and creative partnerships, which can lead to a richer musical experience. You can collectively manage the track, share the workload, and give credit where it's due. It's a great way to harness the power of teamwork and create music that stands out.
